I am currently trying to find the best BMW used parts in the UK and would like to hear real experiences from people who have already gone through this. So far the only name I keep seeing is MT Auto Parts, but I do not want to rely on just one option without comparing.

My main concern is quality and compatibility. Some sellers claim parts are tested but when they arrive they look worn or incomplete. How do you usually verify condition before buying? Do you ask for VIN matching or part numbers first?

I am especially looking for engine components and interior parts, not cosmetic items. Are breakers yards still worth checking or is everything online now? Also how do you avoid getting parts that were removed from heavily damaged cars?

For those who have used MT Auto Parts, how was your experience in terms of communication and accuracy of listings? Were the parts exactly as described or did you face surprises?

Which platforms or companies in the UK consistently deliver genuine used BMW parts? Do you prefer specialists or general auto recyclers? And what red flags should I watch out for when buying used BMW parts for the first time?
