Lake Whitney for a couples’ weekend?

Hey folks — thinking about planning a little weekend getaway with my partner. We love quiet nature spots and aren’t huge on big crowds. I’ve heard Lake Whitney might be a good option, but never been. Thoughts?

Ended the day with a sunset picnic by the water. Simple, but perfect. Totally recommend it if you’re looking to disconnect a bit.
